Quick setup

Android

  1. Open Google Maps app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Go to Your Timeline and ensure Location History is on.
  3. Visit Google Takeout and select Location History.
  4. Export and download the ZIP, then upload the JSON file here.

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Google Maps app and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Tap profile picture -> Your Timeline.
  3. Use Google Takeout to export Location History.
  4. Extract the archive and upload the Timeline JSON file here.
